When someoneis in remission, what does it feel like? There are days when I don't have the burning sensation, but I always have urgency and frequency. Will that go away when I'm in remission. If it does I wouldn't know what to do with myself, I'd be so happy for the first time in a long time. Maybe the Elmiron will kick in a couple of months.

to me being in remission is wonderful its like having my old life back but i still have to be careful if i want to keep it if i just eat one wrong thing it all goes down the drain.
Hope your elimron kicks in soon its sad that it takes sometimes up to six mths to a year to work but like everything it takes time to work.
sending you hugs and prayers
Rhonda

I hope I get there soon, but I don't remember what it's like. I felt like this for 3 years. I'm still at the point were I can't even tell what foods bother me. I started the IC diet, and hope I'll notice a difference. I hate this!

I hate this!
Ditto to that!
When I looked at the IC diet and what was listed as "bad" food I almost fainted! Chocolate, tomato sauce, soft drinks....noooooooo! :cussing:
