Hi Lulu,

I read your post below about participtating in Dr. Buffingtons's study of adrenal glands. I am very interested in his research and wonder how you were able to get into his study. I know you mentioned it was through your doctor and wondered if the study was only open to IC'ers who lived in the local area. I live within several driving hours of OSU and was would be willing to travel to participate in the study. Any info you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Cate-I am not actually in the test study yet. I simply told my doctor-Dr. Woodworth (who I love) that I would like to have my adrenal glands scanned when Dr. Buffington is ready. I had an appointment yesterday and asked him how it is going with the study-he said that they are still working on things, but I could have the scan when they were ready. I am sure that anyone who was willing could be part of this; when I first told him that I wanted to have my adrenal glands scanned-he looked skyward, hands raised, and said "Lord, did you send me this girl?"-He makes me laugh, but said that they were just talking about putting together people who are willing. If you are interested, you could pm me with your name, e-mail, age, etc. and I will give it to my doctor in September. Hope this answered your question.
