Kinesiology

Kinesiology....Has anyone else heard of or ever use this type of therpy? Family friends had a couple staying with then for the weekend when she rang me & said that the guy was a kinesiologist (what ever that is?) They had breifly been talking about my problem with him & they gave me a call the next day & asked if I would like to see him. I had no idea what I was getting intl but they said just come around & have a chat first if I liked. Anyway the deal is that they remove all the bad Bacteria & toxins & infections from Your body using light massage at particular pressure & accpuncture points. OK this part sounded not too bad HEY anything is worth a try once. But them come the side of it deals with past emotions, weakness &strenghts (happy ,sad , anger,lonley regret & so on. He was bascily trying to say that something in my past was the cause for the infection I have in my bladder now, & he will be able to help clear the infection from my body! Yeh all sounding a bit crazy. Anyway on he went with say I had this emotion at age3 (like i'd remember ) & cleared that out of my system, then age 8 and so and so(you get the picture) According to him my bladder pain at the start was a staggering 160 & by then end of all of this it was at it's normal level of 2.6.
He told me to go home drink 2 liters of water over the next 24hr period, I should get a great nights sleep & feel like a new person in the morning. HA! I didn't get to sleep until after 11pm woke at 1.30am & did'nt get back to sleep until 6.00am this morning after more pain & sleeping meds. And I don't feel slightly better today, still in a horrid flare.
Well I thought I would share that with you, interesting if anyone else has heard of this treatment before.
I thought anything would be worth a shot at the moment, but no luck.

Our Massage therapist @ work was telling us about this ! She either went and had it done or worked with a girl who did this ! She said she was not convinced but she said people do it! Hope your feeling better soon,

Andrea, Kinesiology is the word for "the study of movement". Kines meaning movement and ology meaning the study of. I was majoring in this at my college that is why I know. Kinesiology is used with various sports to better improve the athletes and things of that nature. It looks at how the body moves including which muscles move what and which muscles attach to what. It is possible that this person was a kinesiologist but maybe they specialize in alternative healing. Either way it sounds like they were bulls***ing you. You are not a bad person and emotions you hold inside did not cause your IC. Everything is worth a shot once but you know the old saying, "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me". I would just stay away to be honest.
