Over 4th of July weekend, while I was at the ocean having fun, my cat had kittens!! She had 7! That's alot as I understand for a first litter. But they are SOOO cute! There are 2 orange ones and the rest are black. I have halloween kittens! hehe

They all have their eyes open now and are starting to walk without being as wobbly. But they are just the cutest!! I didn't really want kittens, but now I can't stop checking in on them and playing with them. ACK! I don't want another cat, but I soo want to keep one! hehe ~mel~

If that happened to me, I would not be able to let any of them go... I fall in love immediately with all kittens. :)

Last September, my husband took me to a lady's house, and she breeds Maine Coon cats... there was a litter of 4 month old kittens and I fell hopelessly for one boy kitten in particular. I was SO in love with him I was holding him and crying and laughing at the same time :shake: ... well, he just had to come home with us, was all ;)

That's him in my arms in the pic to the left when he was 9 months old... now he's even bigger but still his Mama's Baby. :bouncy:

Oh I am the same way with kittens, I saw two last week in a pet store, one was a siamese, and the other a black and white, they were so cute. It took all my strength not to take them both home with me. The one cat we have rules the roost, and he loves it. :cat: Iris.

i recently gave in to the temptation for a new kitten. she is an adorable 3 month old, mostly white with calico spots on head and tail. she is teething and can be a terror at times. she was born at the coal plant where my husband works. there were five in all. this lady my husband works with managed to get them all and take them home....including the mama. they all have nice homes now. my only problem is getting my 7 and 8 year old cats to like her. we will have had her two weeks tomorrow though, so hopefully in time that will happen. they already show signs of wanting to play together. the kitten (we haven't found a good name yet) is still a little scared of the others. i don't think she realizes that they are trying to play with her instead of fight. anyway, i have that kitten weakness too! good luck finding good homes for your new babies. 7 would be a lot to keep unless you live on a farm:D well, i have to go check on my new baby now. she's done eating and wants to play. oh they are so cute when they first start walking. enjoy every moment and take lots of pictures!

I know!! I really do have a kitten weakness! But I can't keep any of them. I already have two cats and because my mom is moving and can't take her cat, I have to adopt hers, so I'll have three cats as it is. It'll be hard to have 4! hehe I don't want to be the "scary cat lady" down the street!! hehe But I don't know if I can let that little scruffy black one go! I named it Jo. hehe
