Question bout Algonot Cysto-protek 5 in one

My uro game me a month supply back in May, I have not taken it though.I am on elmiron and he said that I should use half the daily dose since I am on elmiron.I am kind of confused, the bottle says to take 2 capsules 3xDay, or 3 capsules 2xday.What would half be? It says after 3 months reduce to 2 capsules twice daily.Is that what should I be taking then.I was just wondering others on elmiron and the cysto-protek, what dosage does the people who take of the cyst-protek take with the elmiron?
If I remember correctly what he said was the maintence dose cause I am on the elmiron.Which would be 2 capsules twice daily, as the bottle states. I never started it because I cannot afford after the free month he gave me, and he said it would take about 4 months to see improvement.At the point of pain and problems I am having right now, I decided I am gonna try this, and give it the 4 months, maybe my mom can help me out with the cost after this free month supply.Would love to hear back from others on this supplement, and whether they feel it is worth the cost of using it, and what dosage they take if they are on elmiron also.

I started on Algonot 5 in 1 in January and researched Dr. T.'s guest lecture (search on this site for 2 transcripts...don't remember which one talks about the dose...I believe it said to take less if on Elmiron.

I gradually worked up to 2 caps 2X's per day with meals. I really feel that Algonot has helped me, as has my Doc. He had a chance to look at my bladder in May and found the lining greatly improved.

I still have pain and must take pain meds, but at least the meds work to lower the pain enough so that I get about 3 hrs. a day where I feel like my old self.

Good luck with this...but, be sure to check the transcript and make sure your doc approves the dosage. I will be trying 1 cap 2 times daily soon...right now too much is going on to drop it down. When I came down in dose a month ago, I had more pain again.
