I teach the nursery/primary class at Church. I haven't done so since I had the last Interstim surgery on May 4 because I didn't want to have anything happen. You know when teaching kids from birth to kindergarten you never know when one is going to fall an you instinctly jerk to try to catch them. Well, it has been two months now so I thought that today I would go down this morning, not teach but just help so that the kids would get used to me again. Wouldn't you know it, I ended up falling. I was stooped down helping one of the kids with a craft, lost my balance and fell backwards. It seemed like it was in slow motion. I really don't think I did anything because it was such a short fall, only about a foot if that, but it did hurt for quite a while. I also kind of felt it tug last night as I was drying off after getting a bath. I am just kind of worried. I emailed my doctor and am waiting to hear from him. I do not want to think of the lead moving and having to have this surgery again. This was already my third one.

I have heard back from my doctor. He told me not to worry. I think that he was just saying that to keep me from stressing out too much. I see him in clinic on Monday. I am going to make sure he takes an xray just to be sure. I am still having pain and sometimes some burning. That is what I had last time when the thing moved completely out of my sacrum. Although I really don't think it is that bad this time. I think I am just being overreactive because of all the things that have happen in the last few months. So I just want to be sure. Right now my bladder is killing me. The pain is so bad that I have almost gone to the emergency room a few times. I have gone though because I have been in the hospital TOO much already this year. I am trying to hold out until I see my urologist on Monday.
