I have no desire for sex anymore. I know it is frustrating my hubby, coul it be the paxil? Or the lidoderm patch. When I was firsdiagnosed sex was infrequent because of flares but we enjoyed i when we could but now, i just have no desire, I am just always tired and I feel like I can not get aroused no matter what. I even thought about an adult movie (eventhough I hate that kind of stuff) because I know my huband is sexualy frustrated. I know there ar other "things" to do to pleasure him but when I am not aroused at all he can tell and it just is no good, he wants me to want it, to want him ( I really love my husband ).

ANY IDEAS????:help: :hmm:  :help:

It's probably one of your medications --- I suggest you discuss with your doctor the possibility of trying some different ones.

Sending healing thoughts,

I think it's probably the Paxil. Antidepressants are known for that kind of side affect. I take Imipramine, and it doesn't affect me in anyway like that.

Some antidepressants can actually help sex drive. Talk to your Dr about alternative medications.

I was on Welbutrin for awhile and it actually improved my energy level and sex drive. Hubby & I had a really long dry spell and I had absolutely zero interest. It wasn't caused by a med for me. Just really horrible pain and worries of getting UTI and flares.

Also, if movies don't do it for you. Consider reading erotic books. I find that most women respond more to reading than the traditional stuff geared towards men. Herotica books are geared towards women.

Books, now that's a good idea.

Bigdog, I'm just curious, your profile doesn't say much, are you male or female.........
