Burning upper torso symptom?

I am awaiting diagnosis.

My symptoms are common to those I read EXCEPT that I also have a stinging sensation running thru my upper torso. The area is horizontal and runs from my back bone to under my breast to the center of my breast bone. This feeling comes about every 3 months or so, and lasts about a week or two (the best way I can describe it is like having a sunburn).

I was originally diagnosed with shingles but a rash never developed. The neuro said I did not have shingles. Could it be a nerve? Is this related to IC?

Does anyone else get this type of feeling?

Do you have Acid Reflux? I know with my Acid Reflux pain, it hurts allthe way to my back. Also, my gallbladder, hurt all the way through. The pain with that, was more to my right. I hope you get some answers.

Sometimes I have burnign sensations over my arms and chest. I am going to see a nuerologist and a rheumatologist. They think it may be fibromyalgia or nerve problrms from a severe fall I had some 9 months ago. Anyways I don't have an answer for you but I'd talk to your doctor about it. I have a whole bunch of other symptoms too so I don't really know which is which anymore. I doubt that it's related to IC. Then again I'm no doc. I hope you figure it out. Take care - Chris
