Kidney Pain

Where is kidney pain exactly. I am barely dribbling when I go and I am having some severe pain in my back, on the right side. It's not really my lower back, like usual. It's about waist high, and on the right side.

By the way,, why does everytime something hurt on me, it's my right side?

well blue I have a good gues where they are and it sounds like you do too. Please call your dr everytime I have a bladder infection I get that pain with out any fever.

Hi Blue,
how are you feeling? sounded to me like it could be a kidney stone. However, I have IC around the urether openings into the bladder so when they become inflamed my kidneys back up and hurt like crazy, I wonder about that too.

You should call your doc. Could you be retaining urine? I don't know but it is definatley something to call and get an app. for. I hope you feel better soon. I have pain that shoots into my kidneys a lot of times with no infection. But I still go in and get checked out just in case. Let us know what the doc says. Take care - Chris :)

I mostly hurt on my right side to but i thought it was just me because i have three kidneys and two kidneys is on my right side even in the frount i hurt on the right side.
in the soft part of your back kind of in the middle is where my kidneys hurt at.
You may have a bladder infection that traveled up into your kidney and this needs to be treated asap!! If you start running a fever feel sick on your stomach you best get to the doctor because it can get wrose and you dont want that i promise you!! I have had alot of kidney infection in the pass most has been treated with anti at home but when the fever gets involed normally i end up in the hosp with iv anti.

I didn't go to the doctor but, I need to. I have an appointment on the 1st of July. I can hardly stand it!

I'm here at work, wishing I were at home! I'm out of Therma Care Heat Wraps. I put my last one on today, when I went to bed. I didn't feel like going to get anymore.

Blue you have me worried about you.
I know you need to rest in the morning because your working to night but is there any way you can drop your urine off to at least be tested so you can get treatment sooner you really don't need to wait to long if this is a kidney infection I pray it isn't but to be sure its a good idea to get your urine tested asap.

I'm thinking if I call my PCP, I could drop some off there to be checked. My Uro, is in another town. I keep thinking July 1st isn't that far away, but I feel pretty bad.

your right its not to far away my sons 12th birthday is July 2 lord has time flew by he has gotten so big!

Please let me know how things are with you! I'm sorry your uro is in another town but at least you have your pcp near by and they can at least tell you if you have an a bladder/kidney infection and please make sure if you do have a bladder/kidney infection they send the report to your uro also.

My daughter's birthday is July 6th, she'll be nine! She's my baby, and she's growing up! It makes me so sad.:(

Oh how i understand that it seems just like yesterday i was in the hosp and they was trying to get my labor started with Brandon they was trying to put me in early labor because i had a kidney and bladder infection plus very high blood pressure and boy was i being a butt too because they was only feeding me one time a day because of them trying to start my labor and brandon just didn't want to come out LOL.
but on july 1 i flat out told them i had been threw enough and either he was to be born by 12 pm the next day or i was leaving the hosp needless to say on July 2 they came in and broke my water so there for i wasnt going any where and plus he was my first baby he was born at 4:36 p.m he was 8pds 3oz 21 1/2in long with a head full of hair and the prettest set of blue eyes i have ever seen!
it makes me want to cry as big as he has gotten. I know they have to grow up but he is growing up to fast!!
I guess all of us mother think that way.

WOW blue you don't look old enough to have a five year old you look younger then me and i'm 29 but the big 30 is coming up for me in Oct.

and i hate to see my birthday come My daughter always reminds me its coming up because her birthday is seven days before mine LOL.

Anyway its late here i need to get my butt in the bed LOL. i'm flareing some tonight the reason im up so late I dranked a glass of tea with dinner today with prelief but it still hit my bladder full blast I knew better but it has been so long since i had a glass.

I will be waiting to hear from you tomorrow I pray everything goes well those kidney infection are the wrose.

Dixie, I have a son who will be 15 on August 8th. I'm 34, I'll be 35 in October! I appreciate the compliment, It makes me feel good.

Just reading your post brought tears to my eyes. I can't believe how fast the children grow up!!!

I used to feel sad that my children were growing up. Now that they are all adults, I don't mind at all --- what I have is some wonderful, caring, people, who not only love me as much as I love them.

I think I enjoy my adult friends as much as I did having little children --- and there's nothing that compares to being a grammy. I can spoil them rotten and it's okay. :)
