Hey idatsea, Welcome aboard. I have not been diagnosed yet either but am currently going through all of the fun stuff (tests) in order to find out what my problem is. I have the urges and frequency but no pain. So I'm just the opposite of you. Just recently had my Uro-dynamics test done and will know the results from that mid-July. I'm finding out us males are a rare breed in the IC world. I have been having my problems for about 15 yrs that I can remember. Just recently got feed up with not being able to sleep at night because of spending the night in the bath room and decided to find out what is going on. Tried Prelief and Algonot but got no results from those. Hoping I have PFD and not IC. Have you had a Uro-dynamics test yet? Please don't ask me my experience with this test. Keep us posted on what your Dr. says. Good luck. PM me if I can help you.

HI:welcome: :welcome:
I think you need a cytro/hydro
As far as your questions many have pain without much urgency. I have a constant urge but not immediate urgency got to go now feelings very often even though at times I have a lot of pain.
Do read the patient handbook....there is a lot of good info there.
Welcome to the board...glad you joined us .....this is a great family!
