Lupus?

I was diagnosed with lupus about two years before I started having IC symptoms. I had to episodes where I was just sure I had uti, but when the dr. did lab work, it was negative. These two episode only lasted about a week each and they were several months apart. It was about a year before I was in real serious trouble with IC symptoms.

Anyway, I just wonder if lupus could have anything to do with it. Have any of you been diagnosed with lupus?

It's wierd but a lot of us have different related illnesses along with IC. I was tested for Reumatoid aurthitis and Lupus and I don't have it. They believe I may have fibromyalgia, IBS, possibly endometriosis. I have no clue. But there is some connection. I think someone else was suggesting it's an overactive immune system or something to that affect. I know that a lot of us do have other problems. I wonder what research will come up with one day. Who knows? Sorry to hear that you have Lupus and IC that must be difficult. I'm sure you know that you can always come here and talk, vent, or whatever the case may be. It is a shame so many people suffer. It's great that so many of us have come together and are able to help eachother through these hard times. Take care - Chris
