I love my mom so much, She calls me every day to see how I'm doing, She worry about me when I don't get much sleep at night sometimes since I have IC. I told her don't worry about me I'll get my rest. I sleep during the day most of the time and I hate that gggggrrrrrrr. Seem like I'm missing out on everything when I sleep during the day. I'm so blessed to have a caring spirital god fearing mother. She's sick herself. She has asthma, over active bladder, bad disk in her back, conjested heart failure, diabetes and high blood pressure and she did have cancer but not anymore.. She's strong and hanging in there. She taught me how to be strong and I thank her for that. I'm doing better than I was months ago thank god. I haven't had anymore flares in months thank god. But I still have frequency off and on. There is life with IC. I don't let IC control me anymore. For everyone on the board. stay strong there is hope out there somewhere. We all will overcome this some day.

I post some of this on my xanga site as well and I gotten nice comments from 3 people so far. Here are the comments below.

You have a wonderful mother. You are truly blessed. I have a wonderful mom, too, and I feel blessed. Take care and don't be a stranger.

P.S. Thanks for tolerating my site. You must think that I am some heathen or something to that effect because astrology and other new age subjects are my hobbies. To have such strong religious beliefs, yet tolerable of others' beliefs, though very different from yours, shows what an open-minded and loving person you are. God bless you and may others learn from your example!

I love my mother very much too I wish she was still alive so i could tell her that everyday.

remember to always tell your parnets how much you love them while there still here with us because life is to short! No matter how hard they was or are on us doesnt mean they don't love us they only want the best for us and don't want to see us hurting or in pain and they would do anything they could to take our pain away even if they don't understand IC i think its because they don't want to believe we are in this much pain.

what i would give just to hug my mom one more time. she was so wonderful careing understanding and was always there for me.

Angela, that was a heart warming post, and I thank you for sharing it with us. Your mom sounds like a magnificent woman, and I am glad that you have such a good relationship with her. I love my mom a bunch too...she always tries to undersatnd this IC thing, and always wants to help me...even if she is sick herself. Aren't we lucky to be blessed w/ such great moms???  Sheri

That makes me think of my mom. She's a pillar of strength in my life as well. I have a great relationship with her. I have 3 other sisters too. I had to move for my hubby's job and I miss seeing her all the time. I'm glad she's just a phone call away because nomatter how old I get I'll always need her. I tolg God to let her stay with me as long as she can because he'll have her for eternity and I really need her here. She has been my spiritual covering and the head of our family from the beginning. Now that I have my own kids I love and appriciate her even more (if that's even possible). It's great that you have sucha good relationship with your moms. Take care everyone - Chris :)

Hi, so glad to read your posts, I wish my mum was still here with me, she was a very strong, loving lady, and I miss her a lot. You gals, who still have your mums are so lucky, and keep letting them know how much you love them. They are so special in our lives. I know my daughter and I are very close, in lots of ways, she reminds me a lot of my mum, so I am blessed to have a wonderful loving daughter in my life. Hugs to all, Iris.:grouphug: :flower:

Great post! Made me tear up. I love my mom too!. She's a worry-wart, but then I wonder why I worry too? Chip off the ol' block. Mom's 81 and suffered a broken hip a few years ago, but you wouldn't know it today. She recovered beautifully.

Moms can sometimes aggravate and mine is no exception. We are both stubborn at times and when we are both talking at the exact same time my sister starts yelling at us to talk one at a time. lol It is really funny, when I think of it.

Everytime mom and I talk on the phone, we always say "I love you" before we hang up. I know that one day she won't be around, and I'll miss her, but then again, she just might out live me.
