Detoxing and Pyc-C?

Hello everyone,
I am wondering if anyone has tried a detox program. Right now I am doing a full system detox called Detox Drops. After that, I am planning on detoxing my body with Para-Cleanse (a parasite cleanse). Then follow up with strains of beneficial bacteria like Primal Defense and using Pyc-C.

Has anyone tried that exact combination or something like it and found beneficial results?

Sounds familiar. An IC friend was telling me about a treatment called "Detox Kit". You can get it from a dentist or accupuncturist. It is drops that you take three times a day. She takes no other meds and is now "FEELING GREAT" since starting the Detox Kit. She goes to an accupuncturist who is knowledgeable about IC and she feels that the two therapies combined (accu and detox) are what has helped her.

I've never considered accupuncture, but after hearing it has helped her, I'm going to give it a try!

Anyone else know about detox or accupuncture?

I'm doing acupuncture and giving myself reflexology on my feet in the areas of the intestines and bowel. I am feeling well today. I did it for 5-10 minutes each foot last night and then this morning.

I'm interested in trying the detox as well. The "Detox Kit" consists of drops you take 3x day. Also, I was told that you can get it through a dentist or accupuncturist. I'm not possitive of any of this yet, but plan to research it today. I will let you know what I find out. I live in Tulsa, OK and there is a well known accumpunturist in this town who has a good reputation. I never would of thought of accumpuncture or detox, until a friend told me how much better she felt within just days of detox and accumpuncture. She said she feels "Normal."

I do acupuncture now. Does your friend have to do the detox everyday of her life or is it a certain amount of time. The detox I have is 6 weeks long. And then you follow up every three months for a 5 day course.

I'm calling an accupunturist today and will ask these questions. I also emailed my friend and asked her how long she takes detox drops and what there name or brand is.

The brand name of the Detox Kit I was talking about is "Heel Inc." You take these drops for 6 months. You can get Para Cleanse at a health or natural food store. My friend thinks it was the combination of the two (drops and accupuncture) that helped her. She also said not all accupunturers know about detox or IC. The accupunturer she goes to just happens to be educated about IC, has her PHd., and treats other IC patients. I'm going to order the drops and give it try. :thumbsup: If I notice a difference within days, I'll be posting here immediately! ;)

Thank you Tilly that is very helpful. It looks like you can buy for from Nature's distributors. She takes it for 6 months. Do you know how long the kit supplies you for?

I just ordered it online and I am now waiting for the nutritionist to call me back. I think the directions are 10 drops in a glass of water 3x a day, but not sure yet. The nutritionist will have the directions and know how long one supply last. The kit cost $34.70 and you get three bottle has 50cc's. I wonder if these two detox kits are identical...with same ingredients.

The detox drops I have are different. It is one bottle and has Fennel, Dandelion, and African Pelargonium. 15 drops in 1/4 glass of water 3x a day for 6 weeks. The one bottle lasts for 4 weeks.

Hmmmm? Big difference! I thought I must have ordered the wrong thing. SO...I called the accupunturist and she said she has had great success in treating IC with it. But, feels it best taken in conjunction with accupunture treatments. The nutritionist has not called me back yet.

Stephanie, how long have you done accupunture? detox? Have you always done them in conjection with one another?

I just started both the acupuncture and the detox about 4 weeks ago, and my pain has gone away. The frequency is decreasing too, but it is strange. I just noticed a difference with it starting last week, the 3rd week of the detox. The frequency will come out of nowhere once or twice during the day. I'll go after two hours and then I will be able to wait 5 hours later before I go again, so the acu and detox must be working in some way. I just received my paracleanse and I think I'll take that next week. I was told that it is complimentary to take the two together. I checked out the detox kit. I will probably order that if the detox I have doesn't work. I've never heard of the herbs that are used in it.

I ordered Para-Cleanse from Soulhealer and detox drops from nativeremedies.

I'm not sure if I am experiencing die-off. In a way I think that I am because I get these sudden headaches that go away in an hour or two since this Sunday. And then I have frequency that seems to come and last a short period of time and then it dissapears for a long time maybe 4-5 hours depending on how much water I drink. Both of these symptoms are rare for me because the frequency/urgency normally would last a week long or more and not come and go throughout the day. If that is the beginning of die off symptoms then great! If not I do not know what it is because it is not typical of my normal IC symptoms, and I do not have pain anymore. I also ordered Primal Defense from Garden of Life to take after the detox and paracleanse is finished.

I am eating alot of salads with garlic, bell peppers, basil, and have added into my diet supergreen alfalfa sprouts (mustard sprout, alfalfa, beet, and fennel sprouts).

Oh, and I have really limited my breads, no more potato bread or white bread, but sparingly organic oat bread, and NO meat (veggie burgers every now and then). I want to really do the detox drops and the veggies otherwise I'm afraid it will not work properly if the Detox Drops have to work harder than what it should.
Plus I seem to do well with Peppermint Tea (licorice and peppermint) and Chammomile. Peppermint in the morning. Chammomile at night.

Anyone heard of this detox stuff called threelac? A bunch of people my mother works with have been taking it one person even has IBS the one a systematic candida infection, they have both experienced improvemnts and less fatigue and pain. I tied a sample and no reaction in term of a flare ? Anyone taken it? I am thinng abou bing brave on this one. I also have a systematic canida infection?
