L. Acidophillus

Not directly related to IC but..............
I take preventative antiobiotics after sex to prevent UTI. I am looking for a L. Acidophillus (sp?) suppliment that will manage the inevitable yeast infections and be IC friendly. Any advice? thx!

It has lactic acid and is a bad idea. I use tampons soaked in boric acid every other night.

I've not heard of any ICers being bothered by acidophilus. I used to take it all the time to try to prevent yeastie beasties. If you have a health food store nearby that might be a good place to start. I used the refrigerated kind --- that keeps the organisms alive.
