Discharge??

Hello Everyone,

A quick question. I just urinated and after I was through, I felt like I had to go a little more, but as I stood there waiting to go more, i had a small white discharge coming out. (Keep in mind, I'm a man :) Now, I've been reading all about IC since I was diagnosed 1 year ago, and I've never read anything about a discharge. Could this be something else? Has anyone had or read about a "discharge" caused by IC?

Any feedback would really be appreciated.

I know it is common for females to have discharge at times. Usually the bladder sloughing off dead tissue. I would check with your doc just to make sure that it isn't anything to be concerned about. It must be hard being a man with IC, as most of the info concerns women, but then we get stuff where most of the testing is done on men & the protocol is for them. I agree that you should be asking your doctor about this, especially if it's a new symptom.

It's not good that you have IC but I am glad to see a man posting. There are several men out there who come in to read and to learn and your bro needs your help. :)
