the area around the urethra to relieve gland pressure that may cause inflamation!?
I m watching Berman & Berman on Discovery health channel and a lady was just diagnosed with vaginal ultrasound. The first ultrasound showed swollen glands around the urethra causing pain. The lady (apparently) had an orgasm w/an ejaculation and the second ultrasound showed that the gland collapsed.
Very interesting..........
So some of us with urethra pain need to go and ejaculate??...LMAO!!!:toosh:

the visual i have in my head is too horrible to share. lol. but please tell me the hoochie cam wasn't involved in getting her to "the big O."

that has got to be the weirdest advice. but you know what? i've noticed when i'm having a stress flare, sex does make me feel better sometimes. of course, this is not something i've mentioned to the urologist yet. lol.

No, thank goodness, no hoochie cam was necessary. It's not an HBO show! It was interesting, though. Discovery Channel Health covers some great issues with the Berman sisters. I have been watching to see if they will get to the IC issue.

when my urethra starts to feel irritated, i will sometimes "pleasure" myself...lol. I feel that when I climax, the tension around my urethra is lessened. Wow, its kind of cool to hear that there might be a real ryme or reason to it. haha.

so we won't go blind if we do that then? if it's for a medical or therapeutic reason? ;) jk.

Believe it or not, I've thought of that before. Chemical studies have shown that femal ejaculate is part urine, part some unknown fluid - which has to be stored somewhere around the urethral opening. I'm not surprised that someone feeling pressure there would be relieved by letting that liquid out. (and no catheter needed! :D )
