My husband doesn't have to go Iraq until December now. Yay! I am also thankful that my new pain management guy knows so much about IC. He even told me on my bad days that I have earned the right to hide out. My breast lesion turned out to be multiple things, the most severe of which was flesh eating bacteria. Thanks to every one for their kind works and support,

Hugs,
Barb

Since you used the word "was" about this bacteria, can I assume they got it all out?

:hiding: When my husband and I decide that we want to hide from the world, we call it "squirreling".

:D Babs, I am soooo happy for you, you really deserved some good news! Wonderful about hubby! Maybe (hopefully) by December, things will have calmed down also over there. Also, I thank the Lord that your breast lesion was nothing malignant, tho flesh eating bacteria doesn't sound to appealing either. I hope you are feeling better soon! Enjoy the rest of the weekend!:grouphug: Sheri G

Hi, Barb, I'm so glad your husband doesn't have to go right now!

I feel sort of guilty on two counts - one I'm a military wife whose husband is stateside and not likely to go overseas, and two I used to be in the Army and I still feel like I ought to be over there too even though I'm too fat now to fit back in my uniform and I'd have to wear a foley catheter or something because of my IC.

I'm hoping that things will be winding down a lot before he goes, that maybe he won't have to go at all. If your husband does go, I hope he returns home safely to you and quickly. (And with lots of cool 18K and 22K jewelry he will have bought you in Bahrain awaiting his plane back home!) ;)

That sounds really scary about the flesh-eating bacteria. Eek! I hope that's all over with now and you will be fine from now on!

Blessings, Lori

Great news. I am so happy. I wish all out soldiers could come home.

Enjoy the time you get to spend with your guy. You sure don' t need the added stress of him leaving when you are dealing with this mess.

I wish you all the best.
