I was diagnosed with IC towards the end of 2000. At that point in time I had been suffering from an array of symptoms which predominandly included extreme fatigue and pain. Prior to being diagnosed I was beginnning to think I must be crazy. Following the Cystoscopy I was told that I had an extreme case of IC. After several months of trying various oral therapies I began taking Elmiron combined with Hydroxozine at bedtime. It has been a miracle. Within weeks all symptoms disapeared. I now through trial and error have come to a symtom free life (for 3 years) which requires Elmiron and Hydroxozine 1 time each per day. I also lost 50lbs because I have no pain and more energy.
