I just thought I would let everyone know that I am home from the hospital and the surgery went well.
I feel like I have been drawn and quartered.
But I am healing.
This has not been a fun party and I don't want to be invited again.

Cannot say as though I blame you! Surgery is never fun...what procedure did they do on you??? I hope you are taking your pain meds, and taking it easy! Also, don't wait til the pain is horrible before you take a pill, cuz the worse the pain is, the harder it will before the pill to help. Not trying to nag, but want you to feel better soon!!! All the best as you heal, take care!:flower: :hi:

Just be sure to take it easy and get plenty of rest to give yourself time to heal. And take those pain medications before the pain gets ahead of you.
Sending gentle hugs,

 Get well wishes for you. I have had so many surgeries and I can't stress enough to take it easy and accept anyone's offer to help you out for a while. Schedule a play date for your kids (if you have them) and like all the previous replies keep up on your pain meds - they have to work too hard if you don't take them when you're scheduled to. I hope you have a speedy but relaxing recovery!
 I'll keep you in my prayers.

I had to have my bowel resectioned and while they were in there they also removed both ovaries (that should have come out with the rest of my rusty plumbing).
This is the second abdominal surgery and they are just no fun.
I do know how important it is to stay ahead of the pain.
As far as kids and HB the kids live in other states and haven't had an HB in 26 years. However, I have my Sweetheart of a Mom that I live with and she is taking care of me as if I were a kid still. We do this for each other. Right now she is almost 70 and in better shape than I am. Come winter when her back starts rising cane with her I will do whatever I can to help here out. We make a pretty good team. She understands living with pain and she knows how depression as effected my life.
What more can I say other than she is really a good friend.

I'm glad you are doing well, and have someone to look after you.
