Finally in Remission

I think finally I am completely in remission after struggling with pain on and off for 8 years, I haven't had any flare ups since last Novemeber. Even my urgency and frequency has eased off. Plus I have been medication free for about 2 years now. Also I am able to tolerate drinking iced espressos which used to give me flare ups a lot. I am just thankful that finally some or my prayers were answered.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed and :pray: that things continue getting better.

The one big difference that I have done in the past few months is become more spiritual which seems to have helped things alot. It just seems like my whole immune system has got an extra boost. The only problem I seem to be dealing with now is Hypoglycemia which is under control right now too. I haven't had any colds or anything for over a year and a half now as well. I think part of the reason I was flaring alot too before was I was extremely depressed which only seemed to make things worse. Since I have been focussing more on positive things my health has improved a lot. Otherwise I'm not sure what happened to make things better. (I'm even able to drink colas now too without using prelief). I have been meditating alot lately the type where you picture yourself slowly healing and so far it seems to have worked for me well at least to the point where my bladder no longer has any pain. To be completely honest I have no idea what I have done any differently that has made me go into remission.
If I figure it out I'll let you know :)

Positive thinking heals the soul, My ic has improved alot since I stop dwelling on it. I believe god will heal me. I always picture myself being healed. I have had many miracles in my life and I know god isn't finish with me.:angel:

It's really good to try and think positively and have a good outlook on things. I'm glad that you're doing so well. I hope it contiues. I hope everyone will be as lucky as you have been. Hopefully oneday I'll be in remission too. I agree that when I am doing better spiritually I feel better and can cope with things better too. Take care - Chris :) :)
