my experience with elmiron

When I took elmiron,
when I was first diagnosed with ic,
it just made my hair fall out in globs!!!!
it did nothing for my ic !!!!!!!!

is what they put in that pill even safe?
I mean when the body starts losing hair over a pill,
I think the body is trying to tell you something !!!! you know??

Lots of meds can make your hair faill out.....it has happened to me before because of other meds and yet didn't happen because of elmiron. We all react differently.....maybe your body is telling you something....I don't know....maybe elmiron isn't for you.....but I know it is a God send for some of us. Most people ...if they stop elmiron their hair comes back so I hope if that is what you choose to do all goes well......I have also heard some that waited it out and the hair came back on elmiron. Do what you think is best for you.

I hope you can find a way to feel better that you are comfortable with.
