I know it is a stupid question.
Thanks,
Kirsten

don't never think that a question is stupid that is how we learn i know i for one ask alot of question but if i didn't ask i wouldnt never no right?
i'm pretty sure your instillations is a dmso treatment are you taking them at home threw a cath. or is your doctor's office giving them to you threw a cath? i use the heparin and marcaine which i have to take one in a few mis i had this awful craveing for some O.J. i just had to have it banghead and that was 10 mins ago and its already hit my bladder like a ball of fire. blah but when i take that it should settle everything down.
sending you hugs & prayers

Rhonda is right. DMSO (dimethyl sulfoxide --- not positive I spelled that right) is one of the solutions that can be instilled directly into the bladder through a catheter. There are also other solutions that can be used for bladder instillations.
