Oh, my feet are so swollen that I can't wear any shoes. I tried to pry off my wedding ring and it took me almost five minutes. Should I be worried about this? I can't stand for more than five minutes before I get this feeling of tightness in my feet. I know swelling is common, but I just don't know when I should be concerned.

I had a lot of swelling in my feet when I was pregnant. If you are worried about it you should ask. Even if it turns out to be nothing you'll feel better about it. Has your hubby gotton back from the guys only trip? My feet still swell up and hurt and I'm not pregnant anymore. For me it's the hot weather that messes me up sometimes. And the cold weather makes your hands feel smaller. I hope you are feeling better soon. Take care - Chris :)

Excess swelling should be reported to your doctor. It's probably nothing, but your doctor is the best one to make that judgement.

Warm hugs,
Donna

I swelled too. But it was toxemia. I should've been on bed rest but for some reason my ob let it go. I usually wear a size 7 1/2 or 8 in shoes. It went up to a size 10 pair of clogs. Then I couldn't wear anything but big house slippers.
Put in a call to the doctor, just to be safe. They may just tell you to lay off sodium for a while....that may be all you have to do.
Just call and get it checked........

Call your OB, then cut out the salt until you see him!

They must want to make sure its nothing major-I was told to go in to the hospital today for a non-stress test. Crystal-he's not back yet-but will be tomorrow night. IF they can get me in today, I'll let you all know how the test goes. Thanks for the replies!
