Ok so I don't watch a ton of tv, but I'm so sick a lot that all i can do is either watch tv or lay there doing nuttin. I have satalite, but there is still nothing on. Everything is just either sick humor, boring, gross, too much violence or something stupid. Does anyone know anything good on? I'm sooooo bored!!!

Rent 'Mystic River'. It was fantastic. Sean Penn is just excellent in this film.
Yep, because summer TV is so bad, I signed up for netflix.

There is a great new show called Summerland, it's on on Tuesday nights on wgn channel 9.
Your young - MTV has Ashlee Simpson's new reality show on! It started last night, my daughter stayed up to watch it. I was sleeping so, I have no idea if it's any good or not, but I'd like to find out.

Husband and I were so bored last night we watched about 2 hours of FUSE--they just play music videos, if you're into that. Then he found Last Comic Standing, on NBC? (I went to bed early so I just heard it in the background). Judging by his laughter, he seemed to think it was funny.

What is Mystic River rated? I don't watch rated R movies... and plus don't care to watch shows that have bad things in them, so its really hard to find anything on! I may be a teen, but that doesn't mean I care to watch horrible things! I have watched the last comic standing a couple of times-its pretty good, and something else but my mind is too blank this early! Blah!!! Too bad I don't have money, and live too far from theaters, and too sick to go to movies, cuz there seems to be some good ones out!!! Thanks for the ideas! Any others?
Monk on Friday nights is always good. I also like TV Lands marathons on weekends, especially "Cheers".

I went and saw the Notebook on Friday and it was really good! My husband was crying at the end and teased me about getting him into these movies that make you cry. Its about a man who loves his wife even in the hard times when she is sick he is by her side. I cried to but it was a good cry.
I went to the movies alone on Saturday. I saw Spiderman 2. I wondered what The Notebook was! I have to see it now!

Good on you Tommygal,
It's great to here of a teen how is not into the violence, sex & drugs that seems to overpower our screens these days. My hubby & I watch Bad Boys 2 the other night ( mind you I did know what it would be like ) we only have 4 channels here in Australia 2 of them not worth watching most of the time. Anyway the show wasn't too bad but the bad language the violence & basicly too unrealistic for words ( most shows probarly are) I became very board with it. These types of shows are not usally my first choice( but I do think Will Smith is a cutie)
So good on you Tommygal for standing up for what you belive in.
Being a first time mother now it's very scary to think about what my son will want to watch & at what age.
Anyway I could go on forever but I wont.
Have you seen Cold Mountain (nichole kidman & jude law) I loved it & some did'nt personal choice. I also enjoyed Love Actually ( Hugh Grant ) & another one I seen at the movive a while back with Drew Barrymore & Ben Stiller , I think it was called The First 10 Dates, that was a good light hearted show.
Anyway good luck with all that
Cheers Andrea
