Has anyone had a cystectomy done using the laparoscope?
I have been referred to a third urologist in my first uro's office as he does most of his cystectomies via the laparoscopy. I know this surgery would be a lot less invasive and would not require as large an incision plus the recovery time hopefully would not be as nearly long as the normal cystectomy. My appointment is not until March 22 for the consultation with this new uro and I have no idea how long it will take to have the surgery.
Thank you for anyone who has gone through this method of cystectomy or has some information about it or knows someone who has had the cystectomy done this way.
