Hi.
I'm 18 years old & still in high school so I don't have a lot of time in the mornings before school to make a homemade dish.
I've looked around for fast bladder friendly ideas but I'm not finding anything..
I need something that won't cause me to flare and something quick and easy to make before school.
Also, I'm stumped on what to have at lunch for school (I bring a lunch)
I need some variety here but something that's easy to make.
Thanks!
•Almond butter sandwich (I order pear or blueberry jam without citric acid or lemon juice, from the ICN shop)
•Cbopped pear and cottage cheese, with IC friendly granola (local or I make my own on the weekend with oatmeal, maple syrup or honey, nuts, etc) or chopped nuts
•String or mozzarella cheese with triscuits and baby carrots or pear
•Turkey or Roast beef sandwich (Hormel Natural Choice oven roasted turkey or roast beef); classic lays potato chips or original fritos
•Blueberries with cottage cheese or plain or vanilla yogurt if you can tolerate it.
Hope that helps a bit!

Green smoothie? I put everything in the blender the night before so it's ready to go in the morning.

When I make dinner I always cook extra meat, veggies and salad.
Then before you go to bed put it in a reheatable contianer for luch the next day, or put meat onto salad for a cold lunch.
This is an easy way to make bladder freindly to go lunches, the key is be prepared and ready in advance.
For snackes you can take bags of nuts from the okay list, or celery sticks filled with the almond butter.
For breakfast you can get it ready the night before, if eatting something cold measure it out into a container so alls you have to do it take it out and eat, if it is something you have to cook, get everything you will need ready and set out.
Also my stand by is hard boiled eggs, they are good cold, warmed, alone, on a salad, I keep a bowl of them in the fridge at all times.
Hope this helps you some.

Thanks!!! That gives me some variety to choose from.
Does anybody know what a 'green smoothie' is and how to make it?

Kadi always has great suggestions. I have a few additional ideas.
Homemade soups - I make a huge batch and freeze portions in tupperware. Easy to heat and eat for lunch. I also do this with mashed potatoes.
Kretchsmar deli meats - I know that's not spelled right, but they are MSG and sulfite/nitrite free. My grocery store just started carrying them.
Eggs for breakfast - hard boiled or any other format - quick and easy. I often make big batches of egg bake and freeze for breakfast/lunches
Cinnamon Toast
Bagels with cream cheese (ok for me, might bother others)
Costco has frozen portions of steel-cut oatmeal, easy to heat in the microwave for breakfast or lunch
Leftover butter noodles with parmesan - easy to warm up
Snacks for me include: Milano cookies, pretzels, tortilla chips with melted mozzarella or sometimes guac, shortbread cookies,
