Just wondering if there were members out there wanting to add friends to there Facebook account to get to know those we chat with here on the forums better? Three suggestions though:

1. Set up a friend list on FB to add your ICN friends to if you might be worried about people you don't really know having access to your more personal info. There, you can set it up to what they can and can not see about you.

2.If you send a friend request to a member here, make sure you add a note saying you are from the ICN and even tell your ICN ID. I am sure if you are like me you don't just accept any old friend request that comes by.

3. Do a search on the forums here for the ICN ID they sent to you. This way you can check to see what they have posted in the past and get a better idea if they are legit and not out to steal info from your FB.

Copied and pasted from Facebook:

How do I restrict a friend or friend list from posting to my Wall (timeline)?
To restrict a friend or friend list from posting to your Wall (timeline):
Open the Account menu in the top right corner of Facebook and select Privacy Settings.
Next to How You Connect, click Edit Settings.
From the dropdown menu next to "Who can see posts by others on your profile?" choose Custom.
Type the names of friends or friend lists you'd like to restrict from posting to your Wall (timeline).
Note: People you restrict from posting to your Wall (timeline) will not be able to see other posts that friends share on your Wall (timeline).
