Anybody here tried that? Is it recomemded for an IC person?
And what are the best sports that you can do to help the muscles down there? Is swimming ok or would it just increas the possibility of yeast infections and then more problems with bladder?
Thank you for your answers.
Calli loves you.

Calli,
I've done tae-bo for years. But recently I have been a slacker. I really need some motivation to get with it again.
As for swimming, after I was dx'ed with IC, I couldn't swim anywhere. Now I can swim comfortably in a lake or in a swimming pool that isn't loaded with chlorine. (You can always tell if it is by smelling it in the air.)
Hopefully you can swim too with no repercussions......:hi:

Anytime I exercise......walking, swimming and weight lifting I go into horrible baldder spasams. Diagnosed 15 months ago and at that time I was getting up around 4:30-5:00 am to get to gym would exercise about 1 1/2, shower and get to work by 8:45. I did this 3-4x week and just loved it. Just realized I sold my home and bought a new home prior to becoming ill...... STRESS????????
So all I can do is try to walk 1 or 2 houses down, get the mail and newspaper. Sleeping or laying on watching tv on catch rest of time. Is anyone else going through this ?????
Thanks ,
Jullie   :hi:

I was in the middle of arranging to move to another country, missing my lovely, worrying if I will be accepted into the MA programm and stressed out to no end. Maybe stress really causes this. And after you get it, you are stressed because of it and stuck in a vicious circle. What do you think?

YES, i TRULY THINK STRESS BRINGS IC ON OR IF IT'S ALREADY THERE BRINGS TO HEAVY DUTY EPISODE SO YOU KNOW YOU HAVE IT FOR SURE....IT'S PRETTY SAD THAT THERE ARE DAYS I CAN'T GET OUT TO PICK UP NEWS PAPER OR MAIL. WALKING AND BENDING OVER IS TOTAL AGOGNY.
I MISS MY LIFE AND I WANT IT BACK, NOW.......... THIS IC TOTALLY SUCKS. I CAN'T BELIEVE I DIDN'T CONECT THE MOVE WITH IC. MY DAUGHTER ALSO LEFT FOR COLLEGE AND I DIDN'T WANT TO BE LEFT ALONE IN MY LARGE MARRIED HOUSE WITH ALL THE MARRIED MEMORIES, ETC,...... I'M REALLY GLAD I MOVED, TRULY....HAVE MET A LOT OF GREAT PEOPLE THAT I WOULDN'T HAVE IF I'D NOT MOVED.
WHAT A DRAG, AT THE MOMENT I'M NOT IN A VERY GOOD MOOD.
 :hi:
