Hello,
A perhaps strange question... I've been frustrated about catching a cold, but this cold is the first one I've had in over a year. This is strange for me - I typically catch 4-5 a year (I've been a teacher for 13 years).

I don't know if not catching a cold has been related to all the home-cooking? I used to eat out a lot, but don't anymore?

Anybody else notice they are catching less colds or flus?

Hi kadi,

I have noticed that. Even now, when I thought I was coming down with a cold, I ended up having a sore throat and sniffles for 2 days, and was fine. My husband, on the other hand, developed a severe cold!!

This is very odd, considering all my life, I would spend most of the year catching and recovering from colds, flus, and bronchitis... I am asthmatic, so I was always hacking and coughing.

I don't know, the last few years I've been much better... I hardly ever get anything, and when I do, I seem to be able to recover faster. I think it's a combination of things -- I've started getting the flu shot, I'm seeing a great specialist for my asthma and it is better controlled than ever, we are eating healthily... and we usually don't go anywhere really crowded (a hotbed of germs) anymore because I am afraid of restroom lines :)

I'm not sure IC has increased my immunity though, because I get a lot of yeast now... which didn't used to happen.

But it is interesting!!!

I think it's entirely possible!
