Blackberries

Blackberries and Blueberries are now in our stores. I've beeen loading up on Blueberries which I freeze. My questions in about Blackberries are they safe on the IC diet or just in small amounts. Thanks, Sue

Well, this is as good as place as any to ask this:

HOw about cranberry capsules and pills? NOT JUICE! Capsules with extract of cranberry+vitamine C.

You take them during eating in the morning and evening 2 capsules. You get them in herbal/homeopatic stores.

I can eat blackberries with no problem, but I do think you should take it easy at first. We have some on our property, but they won't be ready until late July.

No way can I drink cranberry juice or take the capsules. They are terrible for the IC bladder. I have not tried blackberries but I think Donna says she is able to eat them. Hope this helps.

Most icer's can't tolerate cranberries. But I can I have no problem with them at all. I know a few people that are taking cranberry capsules. I'm taking the tablets.

Thank you Donna. You just gave me the courage to at least try blackberries. Blueberries flare me like crazy so i would definately settle for blackberries if they dont flare me too.
