Pre-flare signs?

Does anyone else get some pre-flare signs that signify a flare is headed your way?

The first signs I observe before the flare pain starts is basically the IC tummy, combined with overtly acidy sensations when going to the bathroom (1 & 2).

Am I weird or does anyone else get this?

Interesting, for me, IC Belly happens later in the flare.

But, I do notice sort of hot/burny urine right before the flare. And I also notice larger "oil slicks" on my pee in the toilet. Then, the frequency starts up and the volume per pee goes down... and then in a little while the pain rounds out the flare...

In addition, I sometimes notice some intestinal disturbances before the flare ... it's like the same process that is causing an IC flare is also affecting my IBS.

When I just taste something acid, it like goes right through my blood stream and starts urethral burning even before it reached my bladder. It sounds crazy, but that's what it's like for me.
