I found out from a GP on Friday that the pain management people I saw earlier this month had written about giving me a pudendal nerve block...I've never thought I had any issues with my pudendal nerve, in fact I'm quite sure I don't, and no doctor has ever suggested that I did. So I'm wondering if the pain management docs are crazy or if there is a potential benefit to a nerve block for someone whose pain is literally bladder pain, bladder spasms, frequency etc, totally located "suprapubically." I have PFD, but I don't have vaginal/urethral pain unless that area is being messed with via exams and instills. Thanks for replying if you know anything about this!
