Hi all just seen my Uro!! goodnews is i have no onstruction in the kidneys!! the right one is "slower" than the left to empty!! so i have to cut-down on my water intake to save overfilling, which could cause a slight buildup and then the pain!!

The bladder i am confused about!! he said "cronic cytitis! but is not overly convinced about IC?? said he wants a potasium test done!! the mass cells also had white cells too!! he said i have had a really bad infec at some stage and the white cells can trigger easily!! am really confused now and then he goes on to say he intend to do some "Instills!! into the bladder!! HELP me to understand guys!!

You'll find a really clear explanation in the Patient Handbook at http://www.ic-network.com/handbook/

When a potassium test is done, a potassium solution is put into the bladder through a catheter. If it causes pain, it's thought to be an indicator that there is IC present. Then another solution is introduced to get rid of the pain.

I hope that what you have is not IC.

Warm healing thoughts,
Donna
