Hi everybody,
I do well with just plain benadryl at night, I usually take 50 mgs (two pills.) It helps my symptoms but makes me very drowsy, which of course is not a problem at night. Does anyone have an antihistamine they take during the daytime that doesn't cause drowsiness?
Thanks

Have you tried Claritin?

Musiclover,
I have in the past, but I don't remember the effects. Do you use the non-drowsy claritin or the normal stuff? And if you do use the non drowsy stuff, I assume it has some caffeine in it or something, does it not annoy your bladder?

I just use the plain ol' generic claritin. I mean I used to. I don't take an antihistamine anymore, but I used to take claritin in the day and then zyrtec at night until I switched to hydroxyzine. I don't take any of them any more, but they used to help me when my symptoms were bad.

Claritin is ok for me, doesn't make me sleepy.
