Is hydroxyzine causing my flare-up?

Hi I have just started taking hydroxyzine and think that it might be causing me bladder pain, burning, frequency. I'm very disappointed as I really hoped it might help. Do I carry on for a few weeks? Can I put up with it? Perhaps another version of the drug might help? It is called ucerax.

It's as if someone doesn't want me to get better! Every time I try a drug there is a problem- I can't tolerate amytriptoline (palpitations) or vesicare (stinging), and everything else I have tried so far has been no help at all!:(

I haven't heard anyone say that it caused them more bladder pain. Maybe it has something to do with your dosage? There are several other antihistamines out there you could try. Benadryl worked well for me in the beginning. I have heard someone mention that it was causing irritation though. Possibly from the drying effects on mucous membranes that may cause the vulvar area to get irritated.

Atarax dries out my sinuses. Let me know if you find one that works.
