Hello,
I have tried it when my symptoms were really bad, hoping that it would do its job and begin healing me. Alas, though, at that time it didn't give me relief.
I may try it again in the future, but I'm pretty happy where I am right now in my treatment that I don't want to test right now.
I will tell you this: It really clean the colon!

Hi thanks for the response on cayenne pepper..I see that you are not on any medications and only natural supplements..how bad was your IC and what did you do to get better...were you on any meds at any point?

Hi, Carol--
I don't know for sure how bad my ic was or is because I never went back to see my doctor after my hydrodistention. I was groggy after the surgery and remember hearing and seeing the pictures, which showed irritation, no ulcers, but I'm trying to get pregnant and didn't want to be on meds right now anyways.
I WAS on multiple antibiotics this past year when I was still trying to figure out what was wrong with me and I was on Elmiron for 3 months. It made me bruise badly and my hair was falling out more in the shower, so I stopped. I personally do not want to be on a blood thinner at age 30, but that's just me. :)
I don't know whether the hydrodistention finally kicked in or if my natural route is slowly working, but my symptoms aren't as bad right now unless I know I'm making a boo boo: Barb sauce, coffee, soda, etc.
In the near future, my husband and I are looking to buy an infrared sauna. I'm really looking forward to adding this to my healing. Once I am working full-time again, I also plan on trying acupuncture and Chinese medicine again.
I hope this helps. :)
