I am really not sure where to post this so I picked here. I had my gall bladder removed 3 weeks ago and I am now having problems with my IC. The bile is just dumping into my intestines and causing me to have diarrhea which is normal but my urine is also green at times and my bladder is burning afterwards. I know that the bile acid can't be good for my bladder.
Has anyone had problems with their ic after having their gall bladder out? If so, what did you do to make it better?
Thanks for listening.

After I had my gall bladder removed, I didn't have any problems at all. It was a real relief to get rid of it.

I was also extremely happy to get it out but now I wonder if the acid in the bile is doing something to my bladder.

My guess is calcium would help....I still have my gal bladder but have had other surgeries that hurt my bladder. My other guess is baking soda with water....but talk to your doctor.
I hope you get relief.

I had mine removed in December without any problems. I wish you luck.

I just saw my doctor today and she said that it isn't the bile that is causing my ic symptoms. She thinks it is stress. I know that stress gets my ic flared up but it doesn't explain everything. I guess I will see what happens over the next couple of weeks.
Thanks for the replies.

Stress plays a key role in my symptoms. I didn't realize it at first.
