4th Round of Botox

Hi Everybody,

I had the fouth round of Botox last Friday, May 28th. This time I had the bladder, urethra, vestibule gland, and pelvic floor muscles injected.

The first three times I only had the bladder or the bladder and urethra injected.

My uro says that I am the first to have the pelvic floor and vestibule gland injected by him. I had hardly any pain at all Friday after the procedure. I am having less trouble emptying my bladder then I have had in 28 years.

I have had much success with Botox injections for the bladder and urethra. I am very greatful that my uro is the type that is willing to explore and attempt any treatment option available that he believes is safe.

I don´t have good news!!!!

Since last injections (March), I have continued with pain and alot of retention. I had too pain in my right side of the pelvis (my gyno thinks is because of my endometriosis), and I had a very big flare with my vulvodynia. I was on steroids and Ladogal for the endometriosis, those meds hurted my bladder

My Dr wants to do a hydro again (may be in 3 weeks), but he doesn´t want to put Botox again, he wants to wait to see if Botox is not going to wotk more in me or if all the problem that I have is because of the treatment for endo and vulvodynia

I´m very sad, because as Cindy, Botox was the only treatment that helped me so much, and I´m afraid because what is going to happen with my IC (and my life) if Botox is not going to help me anymore!!!!

Anyway, the only thing that I can do is wait

Today I began with my pelvic floor therapy for help me with pain and relax my pelvic floor, because is very contracted now, and this is not helping for empty my bladder and hurts!!!
