Stage I has been scheduled for 27 September 2011. So many different treatments and none worked. My doctor and the company rep thinks I am a good candidate for the device since my chief complaints are mad frequency and urgency.

Please provide practical tips on how to prepare and what to expect from the Trial Assessment. The standard speech has been given: no showers, lifting or bending. I need practical tips from those with experience. Thanks in advance and have a most pleasant day.

Hello Passion - I am curious about this as well. I have my trial scheduled for Oct. 20th. If you don't mind, would you keep posting as you go through this experience? I'd love to hear what you're going through, hear how you're doing, etc. I sincerely hope it's successful for you.

The trial and permanent implant were successful! The journey was not without some challenges. The first day of the trial I learned that the device is highly sensitive to stretching and twisting. I had to go back to the doctor's office the next day to have it re-connected. Very grateful that my sister and my mother were available to help. I am overweight so routine "rear" hygiene maintenance was somewhat difficult. Also, I had to use the guest bathroom. I needed the extra room and the sink countertop to stabilize my body when getting up. My bed was rigged with many, many pillows to stabilize my body and for comfort. I was extra careful when re-positioning myself from the sitting and laying position. Everything I needed was bought up to waist level. I did not go into the oven or into the dryer during the trial.

This is my second day with the permanent. I feel so much better. I do not regret my decision. :smile tee
