Poll About DMSO Intillations

Hi all... all of you who've had DMSO instills, it'd be great if you responded to this poll. My urologist is convinced he has a 100% response rate to DMSO, and I think he is, for lack of a better word, full of it ;)

I even seem to have even more pain now after 9 DMSOs than I did in the beginning, if that's possible. Just wanted to find out what everyone else's experience is!

I only had one dmso treatment so not sure if my vote counts but I had terrible pain and increased frequency and fire burning so I stopped.

I had two series of weekly DMSO treatments. 8 weekly instillaiton for each round. DMSO worked so wonderfully for me. I could tell the difference on the next day of my first treatment. I didn't have pain at all while holding it in my bladder. I was so thrilled and thought it might be the cure. And then after the 16th weekly instillation, it stopped working for me. I don't know why, it just didn't work any more. I had about a couple of DMSO treatment after the 16th, but none of them helped.

For me DMSO instills help but not without cost. I currently do them monthly. I am always sick [nausea, achy, exhausted, increase pain(4-5 range on ICN pain scale)] for 3-4 days after an instill. Then the next week, my constant pain level drops some (2-3 range) and I have a slight increase in energy. Then by the end of week 2, the effects start wearing off. And by week 4, my constant pain level increases back to the 3-4 range and I am ready to face the discomfort of another DMSO instill.
***My pain scores reflect the level of pain I experience while taking Ultram 2-4 times a day. I do not know what my scores would be without taking pain pills every day!! Too scared to find out!!!
