Hi everyone. I had my first Heparin instillment yesterday and my husband and I learned to catheterize myself and perform the treatments at home. My question is where do you get the Heparin, Sodium Bicarbonate and Lidocaine vials to do the treatments?

I know the syringes I can get at a medical supply place as well as the catheters and alcohol wipes but what about the Heparin? Anyone have any suggestions or answers for me? Can you by this stuff online with a prescription?

You get the heparin, etc. from your pharmacy. They may have to order it so you should give them a few days each time you need to reorder. They do require prescriptions.
