Today I went to pick up my medical record form the URO that I fired recently. And of course I went through them when I got home. I knew I would find things that would make me unhappy but ...well I am going to quote here because I just don't know what else to say except .....WOW, THAT IS AMAZING!!!!!! This is a letter written to my PA her name is Chris.

QUOTE: Dear Chris, Thank you very much for asking me to see Joy Brown. This 49 year old male was seen today. End of Quote!!
I knew there was something wrong with me and the letter was written 2 months before my DX and I was not DX'D by this goof ball. Thank my luck Stars!!! When my Mom read this she had the strangest look on her face! I went into the bathroom and did a double check. Just for everyones information I am a FEMALE now always has been and always will be!!!
Not one time in any of this guys notes, reports, letters, nothing did this goof ball mention anything about pain I was in or that I even mentioned being in any pain!!. Not a single word.
I can not believe my eyes. I am in shock.

So Ladies and Gentleman, there you have it. Now the thing that gets me the most about these are the type of reports that are going to be sent to SSDI.

:loco: It just makes me wonder. YA, know?

I have heard doctors dictate and it could be a transcription error. At least I HOPE he knows the difference. ;)

Not that I could tell. I am not sure at this point he is the same man that I an appointment with. It is just too much.
I can't wait to see the new URO at Stanford. Hopefully this one will at least know what gender I am.:headbang: JOY

Yikes!!! Well... Donna's right, it could be a transcription error. Or if he wrote it down and it was typed by a secretary it could have been an error there, especially if his handwriting is horribly messy like most doctors'. :)

Donna and Jen, I am sure you are both right but I still find the whole thing rather funny. We all forget to proof read from time to time. This man just did not want to have anything to do with IC. I think he is much more suited to handling little old men with prostate problems.
I am just glad I have not lost my warped humor or strange way of looking a things.

Pain free day to all of you:kiss:
