Weight Gain

I recently (2 months ago) added 10 mg of Hydroxine to my repertoire of drugs. I have noticed that I have had a slight weight gain since the addition of this drug (5 to 6 lbs). I was wondering if anyone else has had this effect?

I was told that this med is used for children to gain weight. It does increase appitite in some people.

Yes, unfortunately I've had this experience too. I've been taking the hydroxyzine though for almost a year because it has been very helpful for me. If anyone knows of a similar medication that doesn't have a chance of causing increased appetite or weight gain, please share. :)

Just an update: I have stopped the medication and lost 3 lbs, lol.
