Okay, so I went in on the 19th of May to have the new lead put in on the other side. I have my little box and what not, and of course, it's not working. I'm still going to the bathroom every half hour. I just got off the phone with my doctor who told me of a clinical trial that their doing where they do the Sacral Nerve lead and then some other lead that goes to some nerve starting with a "P". I can't remember the name, but I'm wondering if anyone has heard of this.
I guess one week you monitor your success with the sacral nerve lead then you do a week with the othe lead and whatever one works best, that's the one you keep. But I'm not sure. I'll be out of work longer and it's going to add another 45 minutes to my procedure. I'd like to get some info if you have any.
Thanks
Theresa

I don't have an answer for you, but hopefully someone will know.

Hi Theresa, I'm so sorry, but I don't know anything about the new clinical trial you mentioned in your post. I thought I'd say hello, though, so that you're question would be bumped up on the boards. Let us know if you get any more info. Best of luck with it (or with the regular trial, if you decide to do that one)! Best wishes, little bear

Thanks for your concern guys. Apparantly this is just like the Sacral Nerve implant but it's called a Prudendal Nerve. I've been reading up on it, and I guess my URO is the only one working on this. At least that's what it seems like to me at the moment. Thanks again for the support and kind words.
