:hi: and :welcome: to the icn family i'm sorry your having a tough time right now. You need to get your gyn and uro if you have a uro to talk together and see what is best for you and the baby. some medicine may harm the baby and I know you don't want that but to be shut off from all your reg medicine can cause withdraws also if you was taking a pain medicine. I don't know what to tell you about that we are here to support you and we do care.

one of the other ladies who has been threw this will be by soon and give you more information then i can I do wish you luck and hope you and your baby is heathy.

sending you hugs and prayers
Rhonda

Hi, Welcome! I'm so glad that you posted! Rhonda sure has hit the nail on the head and it sounds like others will be by soon. I'm sorry that I don't have a whole lot of info about this myself. But, I thought I'd chime in to cheer you on. Best wishes (and congratulations), little bear

Need help,
Congrats on the pregnancy!!
It is hard on the body to be pregnant but we have to factor in our IC difficulties too! And that can be stressful as well.
I had to stop all meds too. My uro and gyno said NO too all medicines. I flared from time to time and the uro said if it got bad enough that he would do heparin instills and that was it.
Luckily it didn't get bad enough. I really couldn't imagine getting cathed and already being big and fat.;)
Some ladies have had pain meds during their pregnancies..I'm sure that is only possible during certain trimesters though.
It was hard for me to determine a flare from a uti or if it was just the baby sitting on my bladder.
IT really is a miracle what your body is going through right now. I hope your IC settles down and you can enjoy this time in your life....Just take care of yourself and stay away from those no no foods that you think might give you a flare up!;) :grouphug:
