IVP with catheter

My uro has ordered and IVP with a catheter. I've probably had 30 IVP'S over the years but have never been cahterized. Has anyone else had this procedure? Was it very uncomfortable. Thanks, Sue

i'm like you i have had many IVP but never with a cath., but i use a cath almost daily so they don't bother me much anymore ( i still wouldnt like the toughts of a person i didnt know doing it). wishing you luck let us know how you are.
