Need some help here guys if you know of any way to help families with cooling cost or cooling like fans or a.c for the summer please post your ideas to help others.
I have never been without a.c for the summer but right now my a.c is down and we are having to use only a 110 in one bedroom to help cool the family right now.
lighten hit our a.c and we are waiting for a check from our homeowners to pay for a replacement unit on the outside to cool the whole house but i do know there is many families out there that doesnt have any way of cooling there home or the bills or too high.
and alot of places want help with cooling until augs mth so if you know of any where in your area that has funds even if its just a phone number please post the place phone number and a person to talk to so others can get some help.
if you know of a website please post that also.
thanks for your help.

You might could check with the salavation army or if you have any kind of baptist association .........sometimes these kinds of places will help with that. Also good will agencies........or having some kind of bake sale or fund raiser???? THis is all i can think of. Not sure what part of the country you live in so i don't know anything else you might could do........ except pull together a big ole yard sale and use the funds to buy fans or repair the air unit.........i hope this helps......

thank you Gloria but i'm not the one needing help sorry if i worded that wrong i was trying to find ways to help others but that is a good idea:) if there able. alot of our older women or men are not able to go out and do this type of thing and it easier if we can find way to help them that way the got the information they need and can go straight to the place that has funds.
In hopes they have very little hassle.

My a/c was down but homeowners inc. paid for it to be fixed. Since it was lighten that caused the damage.
