Soft Taco Shells From Scratch

I think I put this in the wrong category. I am going to add it to the sandwiches/burgers/pizza category. Sorry about putting it in the wrong category.

SOFT TACO SHELLS
----------------

1 c. flour
1/2 c. corn meal
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 1/2 c. cold water

Beat until smooth. Spoon 3 tablespoons batter onto medium
hot ungreased griddle. Spread out to make a thin pancake.
Turn over when edges begin to look dry not brown.

I found this recipe at www.cooks.com and thought I would share it.

I am glad you posted this. I tried some store bought and had a flare. Later I read where they were made with lime juice. Ouch.
