I just hurt so badly.

We've had family in from Texas. Donald's cousin that was in Iraq was visiting from Fort Hood with his wife and baby. It went fine. Had a great time and theyleft Wednesday.

My mother is here now for my Sister's wedding (that was earlier today) and is still here until tomorrow afternoon. The wedding was nice. Very moving. The preperations (Driving to Ava, MO to get Mom here to Mountain Home 'cause she is not great with directions and we're lucky to have gotten her that far) were awful. Mom had to decorate the cake. She also brought so much crud (really cheap things that she had picked up for free for a couple of years - pens and logo coffee cups and stuff like that) all the while I am saying that I don't want that at my house because I just threw away a lot of little things like that. After the cake was decorated we went to dinner. (shimp with shrimp sauce... OUCH) Then we had to get to the reception hall and decorate. We managed to get home by dark (miracle) and then just sat and watched TV. This morning we decided to go to the river (White River) and wade for about 1/2 an hour. That was fine. Then Mom decided to go to Walmart at 11:00 in the morning when we still have to finish cakes and shower and get dressed. We got home at 12:56 PM and the wedding starts at 2:00!!!! HELLOOOOO?????

So we rushed and showered and dressed and got to the reception hall and got the cake done. Very stressful. Got to the church at 1:45 and it turns out that my sister can not get dressed without the stupid pair of undies and bra that is in Mom's car. What the *H* ever!!! So, the wedding started 10 minutes late. Not so big of a deal. Wedding over in 30 minutes and off to the hall. Cake punch and people. Got home by 4:30 and then changed and out to dinner. Mexican food. But, it's really the only place in town that can sit 15 people at one table. So we ate there.

Now I amnot even at home yet. Still at my sister's house waiting for my children to get back from my Aunt Teresa's hotel room because she took them swimming.

I hurt. I am so tired. I still have laundry hanging on the line at home. I am going to have to take them down by candlelight. The dogs have not been fed yet either.

I just hurt. I just need to go home. Someone shoot me now.

Poor Michelle it does sound like its been a very stressful day and dinner didn't help either.:( I know there is things to do at home maybe you can wind down a little since the children have gone swimming is there any way you can call your aunt and asked her to bring them home you are hurting but yet you have to get the clothes in and feed the dogs.
is there anyway you can go home get the clothes in let hubby feed the dogs and pick the kids up. (my second idea) then hop your butt in a nice warm tub of water and relax. take you a pain pill and let hubby get the children in bed??
I do wish i could help you. i know your tried.
hopefully someone will help you.
sending you hugs and prayers hon I pray you get a good nights rest Lord knows you need it.:grouphug:

Your day sounds like it would have been stressful even without IC. Hopefully you'll be able to get some rest tomorrow.

Sending warm healing hugs,
Donna

Oh, Michelle! You must be exhausted. Try to make tomorrow a day of nothing so you can just relax. It struck my funny bone to hear about your mom bringing you all that free crap. My mom sent Anna a box full of free crap for her birthday. She got a frisbee & water bottles & pens & medicine samples & a bunch of chucky cheese type crap that all said so & so hospital or such & such doctor (she obviously had been to a health fair). My mom definitely walks to the beat of her own drum.

Hope you feel better,

Karma

Hi Michelle. I hope you're feeling better by now. I feel "worn out" just from reading your post! The part about the free crap really made me smile. My Mother was the same way! She's been gone two years now, and I find I really miss receiving those annoying boxes of junk!

{{{{{ Michelle ************** Sounds like a very stressful day, but I am so proud of you. Look at all you did the last few days. I admire your strength, cuz I really don't know if I could have done it. I know you hurt now, but you will have wonderful memories of that special day! I hope that you can take the next couple of days to pamper yourself. Lay on your heating pad, ignore chores, eat ice cream....only for a day...you deserve it! Best wishes to you for a nice quiet tomorrow  Sheri G

Dear Michelle, What a day! I hope that you can find a little time for yourself to relax and just be (rather than be there for everyone else!)--you sure deserve it! Best wishes, little bear
