Can anyone tell me where to get cornsilk to take? Does it come alone or I only saw it in combo with other stuff for kidneys?

I don't know... maybe someone else on here can tell you. Good luck finding the answers you need :)

I have a friend who makes tea with fresh cornsilk. She will buy corn and carefully keep the silk, and then she goes to Safeway where the buyers shuck their corn and collects it from the produce department as they don't mind at all. She washes it and then puts it in a pot and simmers it for a while, maybe half an hour, lets it cool, puts it through a sieve and drinks it. Keeps it in the fridge for a day or two. She says it helps he urinary tract and bladder function better. I have never tried it, but I think it is a well know Chinese herbal remedy.

I've been thinking of trying cornsilk. I believe you should be able to find this at heathfood stores.

Corn silk has soothing and diuretic properties. :)

I certainly don't need anything with diuretic properties!
